Man Shot In Both Legs As He Slept In L'Derry
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a shooting incident in L'Derry.
Police have said that shortly midnight, three masked men forced their way into a house on Kildrum Gardens. Two of the men entered a bedroom where a man was asleep, shooting him once in each leg. The man is currently being treated in hospital.
It is understood that a woman was also in the house at the time and while she wasn't injured she was left badly shaken.
Anyone with any information about the incident is urged to contact police.

Man Arrested Over Murder Of Colin Horner
A 46-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Colin Horner in Bangor, Co Down. Mr Horner was fatally shot outside a supermarket in from of his young son on 28 May this year. The suspect has been taken to Musgrave police station to be questioned.

A man has been shot in both legs in Co Armagh. A group of men forced their way into a house in the Meadowbank area of Craigavon and dragged the victim outside and shot him in both legs. The incident happened on Thursday night. The 26-year-old man has is being treated in hospital. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Shot In County Down
A 28-year-old man has been shot in the leg in a gun attack in County Down. The man was getting out of his car at the Quays in Killyleagh at about 1.00am on Wednesday morning when a man approached him and shot him. The man is recovering in hospital where his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
