Partially Exploded Pipe Bomb Discovered In L'Derry Garden
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information after a partially exploded pipe bomb was recovered in a security alert in L'Derry.
The device was discovered in the garden of a property on Lincolm Court at about 2.10pm on Sunday 06 March.
A number of homes in the area were evacuated as Army bomb disposal experts examined the scheme. Police have described the device as "viable".
The device was removed from the scene and taken for further examination.
Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact police.

'Viable Device' Found In Newtownabbey
A 'viable device' has been found in Newtownabbey in the midst of a security alert. The device was discovered in the Cherrylands/Cloughfern area shortly after 06:00 this morning. The area was cordoned off as army bomb experts examined the device and carried out a controlled explosion.

'Viable Pipe Bomb Type Device' In L'Derry Security Alert
Police have declared a security alert in Londonderry was the result of a "viable pipe bomb type device". The alert began with reports of a "loud bang" outside a house in Bann Drive at about 11.15pm on Tuesday, 17 July. It is understood that a man and woman were in the house at the time of the incident but escaped uninjured.

A viable pipe bomb device has been found under a bridge following a security alert in Newtownabbey. The device was discovered at Whitehouse Park at approximately 8.50pm on Saturday. A number of homes were evacuated while the device was examined. All residents returned to their homes at around 1pm on Sunday.

Flats damaged in overnight pipe bomb attacks
A number of flats have been damaged in overnight pipe bomb attacks in Co Antrim. In the first incident devices were thrown at the front doors of two flats in Rathcoole Drive, Newtownabbey just after 10pm. A short time later another device exploded at a ground floor flat in Carnbrook Drive, Antrim, causing damage to a bedroom.

Police have arrested a man in connection with the pipe bomb attack in Articlave in Coleraine. A family of five escaped injury when a pipe bomb exploded outside their house in the Wood End area of Articlave at 4:40am on Thursday morning.
