Teen Suffers Serious Head Injuries In Belfast Assault

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following the serious assault of a teenager in Belfast city centre.

An 18-year-old man is being treated in hospital for serious head injuries following an assault, which police have said involved up to six people – one of which police believe was a teenage girl.

Police have said that the incident occurred on Ulster Street, near Custom House Square, at about 8pm.

Anyone who was in the area around that time and might have witnessed the incident – especially anyone who might have dashcam or mobile phone footage – to contact them.

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a serious assault in Sion Mills, Co Tyrone. Three men are being treated in hospital following an incident on Main Street, which occurred at around 8.45am on Wednesday, 12 January.
