Teenagers Arrested After Stolen Tractor Involved In Hit-And-Run Collisions

Three teenager boys have been arrested in connection with a series of hit-and-run collisions involving a stolen tractor.

Shortly after 3.30am this morning, police responded to a report of a stolen tractor in County Monaghan. A short time later the stolen tractor was discovered on Tivnacree Road in Derrynoose. Police have said that the tractor was involved in a number of "hit-and-run" collisions between the time it was stolen and discovered.

The teenagers, aged 16, 18 and 19, were arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit through drink and drugs, and dangerous driving.

Anyone who may have seen the tractor is asked to contact police.

Man Arrested After Jumping Out Of Stolen Tractor
A man has been arrested after he jumped out of a stolen tractor which rammed through a metal fence. Police saw the high value tractor being driven into an industrial estate on Seven Mile Straight at around 10pm in Antrim. The police followed the tractor and the man who was driving the vehicle jumped out.

Tractor stolen in County Antrim
Police in County Antrim have appealed for information following the theft of a tractor and road sweeper yesterday evening. The vehicle was stolen from the Loranville Development in the Antiville Road area of Larne at around 5.30pm. It is described as being a red coloured Case Maxim 140, with a road sweeper attached to the rear.

Arrests And Suspected Stolen Good Seized In L'Derry
Two men have been arrested and a quantity of suspected stolen goods have been seized by officers from the City Centre Neighbourhood Team in L'Derry. A 26-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of six counts of theft and he remains in police custody at this time.
