Eamonn Holmes Joins GB News
NI TV presenter Eamonn Holmes is joining GB News to host a new programme.
The Belfast man joins from ITV, where he has anchored This Morning for 15 years.
He spent 12 years co-presenting GMTV and 11 years hosting Sunrise at Sky News.
In a career spanning more than 40 years, Eamonn has presented a vast array of programmes including game shows, panel shows, sports events, documentaries, news and current affairs, religious programmes, and children's shows.
He is widely known as a radio host, having presented his own programmes on numerous stations including Radio 5 Live, Magic, BBC Radio 2, and talkRADIO.
He was named Best Breakfast TV Presenter in the Radio Times awards in 2017 after a vote by more than 33,000 viewers and was appointed an OBE for services to broadcasting in the Queen’s New Year Honours in 2018.
He said: "I've spent my career on broadcasting firsts and start-ups, and GB News is one of the most exciting yet. It's just the kind of shake-up the industry needs.”

NI TV presenter Eamonn Holmes has been caught out swearing live on air on the GB News breakfast show. The Northern Irish man was speaking with his co-host Isabel Webster as they presented the show this morning, 07 June. After the programme returned following an ad break, the pair seemed to be unaware the cameras were back on them.

The former GMTC host and his wife Ruth Langsford have been on the ITV daytime show for years but now he is reported to be moving. According to The Mirror, a source said: "Eamonn's move to GB News marks the end of an era.

GB News has announced that it will present a live broadcast of the Twelth of July parades, with lead commentary by former First Minister and GB News presenter Dame Arlene Foster. The news comes after the BBC announced last week that it would now longer show live coverage of the event.
