Forensic tests carried out on car in murder investigation
Forensic tests are being carried out on a car recovered in connection with the murder of a girl in west Belfast, police have confirmed.
The black Volvo, which was recovered in Belfast on Monday, is the latest development in the case of murdered teenager Megan McAlorum, who was found dead in a field half a mile from her Dunmurry home on the same day.
Police are also continuing to question two men arrested in connection with Megan's death.
Officers are trying to trace Megan's movements before she went missing, specifically on Sunday night.
Last seen in a local pub called the Hunting Lodge, Megan is believed to have left the premises at around midnight. It is thought that she was alone.
Anyone who may have witnessed Megan or knows of her last whereabouts are asked to contact police on 028 9065 0222 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

Boy charged with teenager's murder
A 16-year-old boy has appeared in court at the weekend charged with the murder of a Belfast teenager. The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with the murder of Megan McAlorum on the outskirts of Belfast on Monday 12 April. Second man arrested in teenage murder hunt
A second man has been arrested by police in connection with the murder of a west Belfast girl. The arrest comes a day after police were granted a further 12 hour extension to question a man arrested on Tuesday in connection with the murder. Police who arrested the man were granted the extension to question him further, until 8pm on Wednesday.

Man admits to Megan McAlorum murder
A man accused of murdering a Belfast teenager two years ago has admitted to the crime moments before the murder trial was due to begin. Thomas Purcell, 19, from Windsor Road, Belfast had continually denied murdering 16-year-old Megan McAlorum from Dunmurry.

Man refused bail in McAlorum murder case
A 24-year-old man accused of withholding information into the murder of west Belfast teenager, Megan McAlorum has been refused bail. Charles Joseph Dundon, of no fixed address, had his bail application turned down at the High Court in Belfast on Tuesday. Dundon appeared before Lisburn Magistrates Court last week in connection with her murder.
