Crossgar Poultry to rebrand as Crossgar Foodservice
Crossgar Poultry Group look forward to the launch of their new name, logo and brochure at IFEX 2004 at the Kings Hall, Belfast on April 27 - 29.
With over 4000 customers and 3000 products, Crossgar Poultry Group are changing to Crossgar Foodservice to meet growing customer demands.
From April 2004, Crossgar Poultry Group will begin operating as Crossgar Foodservice. The amalgamation of the Group’s products will ensure that Crossgar Foodservice’s customers receive all deliveries and invoices from the one distribution centre, ensuring that the transfer of goods is quicker and easier.
Following the recent acquisition of Seaforde Distribution Centre and the 2003 opening of the state of the art meat factory in Downpatrick, Crossgar Foodservice will continue to produce and distribute a wide range of products which are built around a strong Crossgar brand.
Crossgar Foodservice remains at the top of their field and continue to break new ground with their recent appointment as sole All Ireland Distributor for 3663 – the UK's leading foodservice company. With sales of over £1.2 billion a year 3663 deliver quality ingredients, finished products and equipment to the catering industry in the UK.
This exclusive agreement will give Crossgar Foodservice access to an additional 2500 chilled and frozen food products. With many of Ireland’s leading restaurants, hospitals, schools, and hotel groups among their customers, Crossgar Foodservice are set to continue being a ‘one stop shop’ for the Irish catering industry.
Customers can place orders from 9am until 10.30pm for next day delivery 6 days a week. Crossgar Foodservice offers an extensive range of locally produced poultry, beef, lamb, pork and a full range of frozen foods, cheeses and sauces. All of which will be featured in the new brochure and at the IFEX 2004 Exhibition at the Kings Hall, Belfast.
In addition, Crossgar Foodservice will be sponsoring ‘Salon Culinaire’ ‘at IFEX 2004 and will be supplying locally produced Crossgar Poultry products for use in the competition.

With 12 production lines the Newtownards site produces over 100,000 tonnes of dairy products including ice cream mixes, UHT milk, powdered desserts and flavoured milks.

The Northern Bank is making widespread cuts in its branch network in Co Antrim and Co Down - but is hoping to retain all their customers from the affected facilities. The branches to close in Belfast are in Dundonald, on the Ormeau Road and on Dargan Road, in the Belfast Harbour Estate.
