Police appeal following barman attack
Police are appealing for information after a barman was attacked in Londonderry on Monday.
He incident occurred outside a bar on the Abercorn Road at about 11.30pm.
It is believed that a confrontation took place between staff and a number of men.
The barman was then dragged outside were he was attacked and left with a broken leg which required surgery.
Elsewhere, police vehicles have been attacked with bricks and bottles by youths in west Belfast on Monday.
A group of around 30 teenagers were involved in the incident which occurred at Beechmount Street at around 8.30pm.
Police eventually dispersed the crowd with no-one was injured.

Police link hostage incident to attack on police station
Police have linked a gun attack on a police station on Wednesday night with a hostage incident in Co Antrim. A van used in the shooting of Randalstown PSNI station on Wednesday evening is believed to have been the vehicle stolen earlier in the evening from a family who were held hostage by a gang of men at a house in Craigstown Road in the town.

Police Officers Disciplined For Failing To Tell Doctor About Woman's Head Injuries
Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Parades Commission upholds UVF parade decision
The Parades Commission has upheld its decision to allow an Ulster Volunteer Force (UVF) parade to pass through Belfast city centre this evening. The parade celebrates the 90th anniversary of the formation of the original UVF, which was set up in 1912 by Sir Edward Carson in his opposition to Home Rule.

Man Shot In Co L'Derry
A man has been shot in the ankle in Co L'Derry. The paramilitary-style attack happened near the Creggan shops at around 7.45pm on Thursday, 07 December. The 41-year-old man has been taken to hospital to be treated, however his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Police described the shooting as "brutal and horrific".

Recreation centre damaged in arson attack
Police are treating a fire at a recreation centre in County Down as malicious. The incident happened at a football club in the Langley Road area of Ballynahinch just before 3am this morning.
