60 jobs to go at car parts plant
Around 60 jobs will be lost in Co Fermanagh after a car parts plant announced that it is to close.
The Kent Plastics factory at Derrychara, which has made car parts for almost 40 years, will close after its main customer moved production from the plant in a cost-cutting exercise.
The plant looked set to close three months ago but talks between management and the Transport and General Workers Union (TGWU) appeared to have secured the future for the plant.
Safeway look set to take over the plant site following the closure.
