Three Men Arrested In Connection With Lyra McKee Murder

Three men have been arrested in L'Derry in connection with the killing of journalist Lyra McKee.

Ms McKee (29) was shot dead as she observed rioting in L'Derry's Creggan estate in April 2019.

The men - aged 36, 39 and 45 – were arrested early this morning under the Terrorism Action and have been taken for questioning at Belfast's Musgrave Police Station.

Detectives investigating Ms McKee's murder have made a number of arrests in recent weeks, with a number of men being charged with a range of offences including murder and rioting.

Two Men Arrested Over Lyra McKee Murder
Two more men has been arrested in connection with the murder of journalist Lyra McKee. Ms McKee was murdered during rioting in the Creggan Estate in L'Derry in April 2019. Two men, aged 24 and 29, were arrested early this morning, Wednesday 22 September, and have been detained under the Terrorism Act at Musgrave Police Station in Belfast.

Four Men Arrested In Connection With Lyra McKee Murder
Four men have been arrested in connection with the murder of journalist Lyra McKee. Ms McKee was fatally shot as she observed rioting in L'Derry in April 2019. She was 29 years old. Police investigating her death have arrested four men, aged 19, 20, 21 and 33, under the Terrorism Act.

63-Year-Old Man Arrested In Connection With Killing Of Lyra McKee
A 63-year-old man has been arrested in L'Derry early this morning in connection with the killing of Lyra McKee. The 29-year-old journalist was shot dead as she observed rioting in the Creggan estate in April 2019. Police investigating the killing of Ms McKee have made a number of arrests over the last number of weeks.
