Absconded Convicted Murderer Returns To Custody
A convicted murderer who absconded while on temporary release from prison has been recaptured and returned to custody.
60-year-old Samuel McKinley was serving a life sentence at HMP Maghaberry for the murder of a man in Southampton in 1996.
According to reports, he had been on temporary release when he went missing on 17 September.
The Department of Justice has now reported that McKinley has been recaptured and returned to custody.

PSNI Opens New Waterside Custody Suite
The PSNI has officially opened its new purpose-built custody suite within the existing Waterside PSNI Station site. The 21-cell suite which was built at a current estimated construction cost of £15 million, will provide custody provision for the whole of the North West, from Coleraine to Strabane.
