Executive To Meet To Discuss NI's Next Steps Out Of Lockdown
The Storming Executive is expected to meet later today, 06 September, to discuss Northern Ireland’s next step out of lockdown.
Restrictions are to be eased on indoor venues in the Republic of Ireland RoI) today with larger crowds permitted.
Live music at weddings and pubs is also to return in the RoI from today.
Deputy First Minister Michelle O’Neill who has been self isolation after contracting Covid-19 is expected to take part in the meeting.

Ministers To Discuss Lockdown Easements
NI ministers are to meet today, 15 April, to discuss further relaxations in lockdown restrictions. Close contact services such as hairdressers and beauticians will be allowed to open from 23 April, according to reports. Driving tests are also expected to resume fro 23 April.

No Winter Lockdown Expected - Murphy
No new Covid-19 lockdown is expected to be introduced this winter, Finance Minister Conor Murphy has said. According to reports, Mr Murphy has said that ongoing discussions in the Executive has ""not pointed in that direction".

Indoor Hospitality Opens As NI Takes Further Steps Out Of Lockdown
Indoor hospitality will officially open today, 24 May, as Northern Ireland takes further steps out of lockdown. Six people from no more than two households will be able to meet in homes and stay overnight. All tourism accommodation will also reopen. Post-wedding and civil partnership receptions can also take place.

The NI Executive have agreed to ease a number of lockdown restrictions. Speaking in the Assembly, First Minister Arlene Foster said: "We have looked at the different risks and different settings. We have received advice from our Chief Medical Officer and remain grateful to them as ever.
