Appeal For Information Of 'Brutal' Shooting In County Antrim
The PSNI have have issued an appeal for information following a shooting incident in Newtownabbey, County Antrim.
At about 10pm on Tuesday 24 August, a man, aged in his 20s, was shot in the leg in an attack at Knockenagh Avenue.
Police, who have described the incident as a "brutal attack" are working to establish the motive for the shooting.
Anyone who have any information about the incident, or who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the area, is asked to contact police.

The PSNI have appeal for witnesses to or any one with any information about a shooting incident in west Belfast on Wednesday night. A man was shot in the leg at Creeslough Gardens at around 21:30 on Wednesday night. It is understood that victim is in his 40s and his injuries are not life threatening.

PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information following a shooting incident in the Newtownards area on the evening of Saturday 18th February. Superintendent Johnston McDowell said: "It was reported at around 10:45pm that shots were fired through the front door of a property in The Meadows area of Newtownards.
