NI Temperatures Soar Into The 20s
Temperatures are expected to reach 24 degrees in some places in Northern Ireland today, 24 August.
This evening is expected to be dry with plenty of warm sunshine, according to the Met Office.
A clear night is to follow with some low cloud.
Wednesday is also expected to be bright and sunny with a maximum temperature of 24 degrees.
Thursday is to be dry and warm, however cooler conditions will spread on Friday.

Temperatures soared to 24 degrees on Monday, 09 May, in Northern Ireland, making it the hottest day of the year so far. The highest temperatures were recorded in Co Tyrone, 24 degrees, and Co Down, 23 degrees.

Heavy Winds To Batter NI
Northern Ireland is set to be battered by heavy winds later today, the Met Office has warned. A yellow weather alert has been issued with some disruption expected, particularly in the more exposed areas. The alert will take affect at 2pm this afternoon, 18 December and will remain in place until 3am tomorrow.

Strong gales are set to sweep Northern Ireland on Wednesday, the Met Office has warned. A yellow weather alert has been issued with some disruption expected, particularly in more exposed areas. The alert will take affect at 2pm on 18 December and remain in place until 3am on Thursday 19.

Motorists across Northern Ireland have been warned of treacherous road conditions in parts of the country as temperatures are expected to reach a low of -6C over the next few days. The Met Office said the cold weather is expected to persist into the week with widespread frost and temperatures plummeting. AA Roadwatch has warned of icy conditions.
