Blocked Drain Causes Flooding At Belfast Bar

A bar in Belfast city centre has issued an appeal over a blocked drain which is continuing to flood its outdoor seating area.

The Deer's Head took to their social media to ask for clarity over the situation.

Aiming a message straight at NI Direct on Twitter, the venue asked for help sorting out the problem that they claim has been reported on "numerous occasions".

These problems come after The Deer's Head spent vast money investing in the new venue over the last 18 months.

The bar went on to share a further post claiming that DfI roads Eastern Division had visited the site but "told one of the staff it wasn't a drain/blocked sewer so not their problem".
