Man Threatened At Knifepoint In Belfast Robbery
A man has been arrested in relation to a robbery in Belfast, where someone was held at knifepoint.
The incident on Thursday 29 July was reported to police shortly after 10.15am, when a male was threatened at knifepoint by an unknown man in the Antrim Road area.
The man, who was described as wearing a dark grey hooded top and grey tracksuit bottoms, stole a dark coloured rucksack from the man and made off towards the Atlantic Avenue area following the incident.
The 40-year-old was later arrested at the Atlantic Avenue area on suspicion of robbery and other related offences and was subsequently released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Detective Constable Majury added: "Our enquiries are continuing and we would ask the owner of the rucksack to contact police. We would also appeal to anyone with any information or dash-cam footage taken from the area at the time of the incident to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 479 29/07/21. A report can also be made using the online reporting form via www.psi.police.uk/makeareport. Alternatively, information can be provided to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org."

Police have said they believe missing Omagh man, Shane Sharkey, has been found in the Republic of Ireland. A police appeal for help in finding the 35-year-old has been cancelled, with police saying they now believe they know where he is. No further details have been released but police thanked the public for their help.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of intimidation and criminal damage. A number of attacks on homes and cars have forced families to leave the Ballysillan area of north Belfast. A 26-year-old man was arrested and he is helping police with their enquiries.

Witness Appeal After Stabbing Incident In Downpatrick
Police have issued an appeal for witnesses following an assault in the Ardilea Park area of Downpatrick in the early hours of Sunday morning, 10 December. A 22-year-old man was found with serious stab wounds at a house in the Killough Road area just after 4am. He was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital by ambulance.

A man has been arrested in connection with a paramilitary-style shooting in Co L'Derry. A 33-year-old man was shot in the legs and abdomen in the Lisfannon Park area on Tuesday, 08 August. Police described the assault as "brutal and horrific". The 43-year-old suspect was detained in L'Derry on Tuesday, 15 August.
