Man Found With 'Stab Wound To The Neck' In L'Derry
Police in L'Derry have issued an appeal for information after a man was found with a "stab wound to his neck".
It is understood at around 4am this morning police responded to a report of an injured man in the Meadowbank Avenue area.
The man remains in hospital. It is understood that his wounds are not thought to be life-threatening.
Police are trying to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident and have appealed to anyone with information to contact them.

Stomach Wound Killed Bar Brawl Victim
The trial of the man accused of killing Short Strand man, Robert McCartney has heard that a single stomach wound killed the victim. Belfast Crown Court heard yesterday from the Deputy State Pathologist, Dr Alistair Bentley, who conducted a post mortem on Mr McCartney in February 2005.

Police Cancel Appeal For Missing Omagh Man
Police have said they believe missing Omagh man, Shane Sharkey, has been found in the Republic of Ireland. A police appeal for help in finding the 35-year-old has been cancelled, with police saying they now believe they know where he is. No further details have been released but police thanked the public for their help.

Police investigating the attempted murder of a man who was found slumped in a car with a gunshot wound to his head in Moneymore have made a fresh appeal for information. The incident happened on the Carndaisy Road at around 9.50pm on Friday, 09 March. The 22-year-old man was discovered by a passer-by inside a blue BMW.

Missing Man Found 'Safe And Well'
Missing man Declan Mawhinney has been found safe and well, according to the police. Mr Mawhinney, 46, went missing from Letterkenny on Saturday at approximately 11.40pm. A missing person appeal was launched by the police and his family. He was located in Letterkenny on Tuesday. Police thank the public for their assistance.
