Convicted Sex Offender Hands Himself In To Police
A convicted sex offender who was unlawfully at large in England has handed himself in to Northern Ireland police.
PSNI appealed for help in finding Fermanagh man James Taggart last week, reporting he was seen recently in the Essex area.
The 27-year-old handed himself into a PSNI station yesterday, Monday 26 July. He has since been charged and will appear at Omagh Magistrate's Court today, 27 July.
Police have thanked the public for their help in the appeal for information.

The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Teen Arrested Over Security Alert In West Belfast
A teenager has been arrested following a security alert at a west Belfast police station. The incident occurred at Woodbourne PSNI station on Tuesday. Army bomb disposal experts attended the scene after a suspicious object was discovered. It was later declared an "elaborate hoax" by the police.

Man Attacked With Batons In Ballymoney
A 40-year-old man has been attacked with batons in Ballymoney. Police are describing it as a paramilitary-style attack. The man was beaten with batons at a property in the Alexandra Avenue area just after 8.30pm on Saturday, 28 October. Three masked men are believed to have entered the house and attacked the victim.

Defibrillator Stolen In Newtownards
An investigation has been launched into the theft of a defibrillator from outside a shop in Newtownards. The life-saving equipment was taken overnight from outside a Vivo store on Glenard Road. Posting to their Facebook page, PSNI Ards, said that they would be looking at CCTV in order to identify those involved.
