1,083 New Positive Covid Tests Recorded In Last 24 Hours
There have been 1,083 positive covid tests in Northern Ireland in the last 24 hours, according to the latest figures from the Department of Health(DoH).
There have now been a total of 135,227 cases since the pandemic began.
However there have been no new coronavirus-related deaths recorded, according to the DoH. The total death toll now stands at 2,159.

Six Die On Irish Roads
The death of a Co Tyrone man overnight has brought the total number of road deaths across Ireland in the past 48 hours to six. Christopher McNeill, 26, from the Dungannon area, is also the 13th person to die on NI's roads so far this year. He was killed in a crash involving a car and a lorry outside Coalisland.

8 New Coronavirus Deaths Recorded
Coronavirus related deaths have risen to 724 with a further 8 recorded deaths, according to the latest 'dashboard update' from the Department of Health. According to the figures 493 new positive cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. The total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic now stands at 39,609.

Funding secured for out of school hours clubs
Minister for Children and Young People Jeff Rooker has secured immediate funding to resolve problems facing out-of-school-hours clubs. The Out of School Hours Childcare programme was launched in July 1999 with a specific of ensuring good quality, affordable childcare for children aged 3-14 by providing start up funds to create new childcare places.
