Three Arrested After Device Found In Enniskillen On St Patrick's Day

Three people have been arrested following the discovery of a viable device on St Patrick's Day in Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh.

A 42-year-old man was arrested in Irvinestown and a 27-year-old man and 29-year-old woman were detained in Castlederg. 

All three are being held under the Terrorism Act and have been taken to Musgrave Serious Crime Suite for questioning.

It is part of an investigation into violent dissident republican activity linked to the Continuity IRA.

Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Attempted Murder
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. A man, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition in hospital after he was assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. Two other men were also arrested and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Man Arrested Following Incident At House In Coleraine
A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident at a house in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. It happened at a property on Knockantern Grove in the Mountsandel area on Tuesday, 16 August. The suspect has been arrested on suspicion of possessing of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an offence and assault on police.

Eleven Arrested During St Patrick's Day Celebrations
Eleven people have been arrested for public order offences in the Holylands area of Belfast on St Patrick's Day. The arrests, which were also made in the city centre, included disorderly behaviour, resisting arrest and assault on police.

Over 30 People Arrested On St Patrick's Day
Over 30 arrests were made on St Patrick's day, the police have confirmed. The youngest of the 33 arrests was a 13-year-old boy. He was arrested in the Donegall Square area on suspicion of causing danger to a road user. He was released and given a discretionary disposal.
