Appeal Issued After Man Smashes Windows On Speed Van
Police are appealing for information after the windows of a Road Safety Partnership speed van were smashed by a man on Wednesday, 19 May.
The van was parked on the North Road in Carrickfergus an a ale attacked the vehicle with a baseball bat and caused damage to the windscreen, two side windows and a rear window.
The suspect is described as wearing a grey and black hooded top and was wearing a black mask.
Inspector Rosie Leech said: "Enquiries are continuing and officers are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time, or who may have dashcam footage or any other information to contact police on 101 quoting reference 880- 19/05/21."

Police have issued an appeal for witnesses after a van was forced across a central reservation and attacked close to the Hillsborough roundabout on Monday. The incident began close to the Sprucefield roundabout, on the outskirts of Lisburn just before 6pm.
