'Offensive Weapon' Found In West Belfast Park
PSNI have found an "offensive weapon" at Falls Park in west Belfast.
Police said the object could have "seriously hurt" young children if they had found it or fallen on it.
In a statement the PSNI said: "This weapon has been homemade by someone and they seriously need to consider this risk taking behaviour and the effect it can have on themselves and others."

Knife found close to scene of stabbing not murder weapon
A knife found close to the spot where 15-year-old Thomas Devlin was fatally stabbed earlier this month is not the murder weapon, police have confirmed. The knife was discovered by a resident cutting a hedge at the rear of his house off the Landsdowne Road on Monday evening.

Police link hostage incident to attack on police station
Police have linked a gun attack on a police station on Wednesday night with a hostage incident in Co Antrim. A van used in the shooting of Randalstown PSNI station on Wednesday evening is believed to have been the vehicle stolen earlier in the evening from a family who were held hostage by a gang of men at a house in Craigstown Road in the town.

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences after cannabis plants were discovered at a house in the Shankill area in Belfast. Detectives stopped a car in the Peter's Hill area on Wednesday, 01 February, which led to a house being searched in Brown Street.

Two pedestrians injured in hit-and-run incident
Two women have been injured following a hit-and-run incident in west Belfast on Sunday night. The women, who are in their fifties, were knocked down by the car on the Falls Road just before midnight. They are currently being treated in hospital where both are said to be in a "stable" condition.
