NI Care Home Restrictions Ease

Restrictions for visitors to care homes in Northern Ireland are being eased today, 07 May.

People are now able to visit care homes twice a week.

NI's Commissioner for Older People Eddie Lynch is calling on care homes to "adhere to the new guidance".

He said: "I ask that all care homes in Northern Ireland adhere to the new guidance to ensure that families are being granted the number of visits they are entitled to and I would continue to ask families to get in touch with my office if that is not the case."
