Debenhams To Close All Stores On 15 May
Debenhams has confirmed that all of its stores will close on 15 May.
The department store has said its 49 last remaining outlets will close on 12 May and 15 May, following on from closures this week.
A Debenhams spokesman said: "We are now heading into the final days of our closing down sale and this is the very last chance for our customers to take advantage of some incredible deals.
"Over the next 10 days, Debenhams will close its doors on the high street for the final time in its 242-year history.
“We hope to see you all one last time in stores before we say a final goodbye to the UK high street.”
The stores due to close in Northern Ireland are in Ballymena store, 12 May, and the stores in Belfast, Rushmere and Newry on 15 May.

B&Q To Close Five Stores In NI
DIY retailer B&Q has confirmed it is to close five of its nine stores in Northern Ireland. The chain, which is owned by Kingfisher, is expected to shut its branch on the Boucher Road in Belfast and also its branch on the Buncrana Road in L'Derry. Its stores in Ballymena, Craigavon and Sprucefield are also believed to be closing down.

Tesco To Close Three NI Stores
Tesco has confirmed it is to close three of its stores in Northern Ireland. The announcement comes just weeks after the supermarket chain said it was no longer continuing with plans to build two new stores in the region. The retailer had planning permission for a supermarket in Carryduff, Co Down, as well as a store in Armagh.

Nine NI HMV Stores To Close
Nine HMV stores in Northern Ireland are to close as part of an operation which will see 66 stores UK-wide closed over the next two months. Administrators have revealed the shops due to shut in Northern Ireland include those on the Boucher Road and Forestside, Belfast.

850 Adams Jobs To Go As Stores Close
Childrenswear retailer Adams is to shed around 850 jobs, after administrators announced the immediate closure of 111 of its stores. The news comes five days after PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) were called in. It is understood the 850 staff members have been made redundant with immediate effect.
