Investigation Launches After Video Shows Child Finding Gun
An investigation has launched after a video revealed a child finding a gun in east Belfast.
The footage, which was posted on Twitter, shows a young boy with what is believed to be an air rife which was discovered in the Pitt Park area on Sunday, 18 April.
The air rifle has since been recovered for further examination.

Spanish councillors arrive in NI on economic fact finding mission
Councillors from Valencia in Spain have arrived in Belfast today as part of a fact finding mission to the province. Representatives from municipal government and the community sector will learn about some of the innovative ways in which their Northern Ireland counterparts deal with business development, social inclusion and cultural tourism.

More Work Needed To Tackle Child Poverty
According to recent research more needs to be done to get children in Northern Ireland out of Poverty, with the British Government being blamed for the elimination target slipping. The charity Barnardos has revealed that two areas in Northern Ireland have two of the highest rates of child poverty in the UK.

A government survey has shown that more Catholics find it harder to get a job than Protestants. The report, based on the 2000-2001 Labour Force survey, published by the Government Statistics and Research Agency shows the employment characteristics of Protestants and Roman Catholics in Northern Ireland.

Executive Parties have been accused of a "dereliction of duty" for failing to bring forward a Clean Air Strategy for Northern Ireland. Green party Deputy leader Mal O'Hara made the comments as he marked "another Clean Air day without a Clean Air Strategy".
