Appeal Launched After Girl Injured In Lurgan Collision

Police are appealing for information after a five-year-old girl was injured following a collision involving a car.

The incident happened in Lurgan on Tuesday, 13 April.

The girl, who was riding her bike, has broken her elbow and leg.

PSNI Sergeant Meaney said: "A five-year-old girl, who had been riding the bicycle, sustained a broken elbow and a broken leg in the collision, and was subsequently taken to hospital for treatment.

"Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the incident, or has dash-cam footage, to contact them on 101 quoting reference number 1486 of 13/04/21, or submit a report online using the non-emergency reporting form via http://www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/."

Girl, 12, Killed In Newry Beach Buggy Crash
A 12-year-old girl has died in a crash involving a beach buggy in Newry. The girl was travelling on the buggy with another 14-year-old girl when they collided with a pick-up trick at around 2.50pm on the Flagstaff Road in Cloughogue on Saturday, 18 November. Teenager Injured In East Belfast Hit And Run
A teenager has been injured in a hit and run incident in east Belfast. A girl was hit by a black car in the Mountpottinger Road area at around 2am on Tuesday, 09 August. She has been left with a suspected broken leg. Police have launched an investigation and are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

Man assaulted in Craigavon attack
Police in Craigavon have appealed for information following a serious assault in the town yesterday. The attack happened at around 1.30pm, when two men seriously assaulted a vulnerable 34-year-old man in the Carrigart area of the town.

A man has been beaten during a robbery at his home in Co Londonderry. Police described the incident as "horrendous" after two men forced their way into the man's Garvagh home after demanding money at the door.
