Frampton And McGuigan Settle Out Of Court
Carl Frampton has reportedly settled his court case against his former manager Barry McGuigan.
Frampton, a two-weight world champion, brought the case against McGuigan over alleged withheld earnings. However, McGuigan subsequently brought a case against Frampton over breach of contract. The legal battle began at the High Court in Belfast in September.
It is understood that both men where due to appear in court today, Thursday 12 November, when it was announced that they had reached an "out of court in a confidential settlement".
According to reports, Mr Frampton is said to be "extremely happy" with the settlement.

Woman Charged With Attempted Murder After Man Stabbed In Co Down
A 36-year-old woman has been charged with attempted murder after a man was stabbed in Co Down. The 54-year-old victim was stabbed in the Manor Court area in Moira on Monday. He is currently in a serious but stable condition in hospital. The woman is to appear at Craigavon Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

Man Charged After Glenarm Shooting
Detectives investigating the incident on Feystown Road on Monday, 25 November, have charged a 41-year-old man with attempted murder, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, and criminal damage. The accused is due to appear at Ballymena Magistrates’ Court today, Thursday, 28 November.

Omagh Man Jailed For Historic Sex Offences
Police have welcomed the recent sentencing of a man who was found guilty of 22 historic sex offences. A judge at Dungannon Crown Court handed the 53-year-old from Omagh a sentence of five years imprisonment and a further two years on probation on Tuesday 28 May.

Belfast boxer Carl Frampton is facing legal action from his former trainers, his solicitor has conformed. He left Cyclone Promotions in August. His solicitor, John Finucane, confirmed legal action had been taken against him and he was "deeply disappointed" by the move. The claim is in relation to a breach of a promotional contract.
