Three Arrests As £300k Drugs Seized

Police say they have removed drugs worth over £300,000 from the streets of west Belfast.

Three men, aged 33, 37 and 43 were arrested and a car was seized along with a further quantity of suspected class A and C drugs, cash and drug paraphernalia.

The operation was sparked after patrol officers spotted three individuals acting suspiciously around a car parked at a commercial premises in the west of the city.

The car was subsequently stopped, searched and a large quantity of suspected cocaine was discovered.

A follow up search led to the discovery of the other drugs.

The men are currently assisting police with their enquiries.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "If you can help us identify suspects or provide any information about suspected drug dealing in your area call the non-emergency number 101. Alternatively, information can also be given anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111."

Two Men Arrested In Belfast For Counterfeit Currency
