Police Renew Appeal Over Co Tyrone Stabbing

Police have renewed their appeal for information in connection with a stabbing in Moy, Co Tyrone.

The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday 01 March in The Square area of the town.

Three men and a woman were attacked as they left a bar at around 1.20am. One of the men, aged 31, suffered a serious stab wound to his abdomen.

Two men, aged 18 and 20, arrested in connection with the incident were later released on police bail pending further enquiries. They had been held on suspicion of grevious bodily harm with intent and possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.

Detectives have urged anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the incident, or who has dash-cam footage or mobile phone recordings to contact Cookstown Police station on 101 quoting reference number 137 of 01/03/20.

Police have renewed their appeal for information after a teenager was attacked in Co Antrim on Monday, 11 April. The teenager was chased by several men in the Glenburn Road area of Dunmurry. The victim was punched and kicked and sustained injuries to his face and head. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Four Men Arrested For Dissident Activity
Four men have been arrested in Newtownabbey on suspicion of dissident republican activity. PSNI officers detained the men on Thursday evening aged 30,35 and 46. They are being questioned in Antrim police station.

Six Arrested In Dissident Investigation
Six people have been arrested by detectives investigating dissident republican activity. The arrests were made on Tuesday in the Dunmurry and west Belfast area following a number of searches. Police said five men, aged between 31 and 58, and a 32-year-old woman had been arrested.
