Barry's Amusements To Open As Normal
Barry's Amusements will operate as usual this season, its owners have announced.
The Trufelli family say the business will open as normal throughout Easter and the summer months, despite the site being on the market.
An iconic feature on the North Coast, the Portrush amusement ground first opened in 1926.
It was listed for sale as a going concern last November.
After almost 100 years in business, the Trufellis say they have had "strong interest" from potential buyers in recent months.
Announcing the opening hours for the upcoming 2020 season, they said: "The business remains for sale as a going concern and, while there has been strong interest, this process takes time.
"We would like to thank our employees and our customers for their continued patience and messages of goodwill over recent months. We look forward to welcoming you all to Barry's this forthcoming season."
Opening times are as follows:
• Good Friday, 10 April, 12-9pm
• Saturday 11 April, 12-9pm
• Easter Sunday, 12 April, 12-9pm
• Easter Monday, 13 April, 11-9pm
• Easter Tuesday, 14 April, 11-9pm
• Wednesday 15 April, 12-9pm
• Thursday 16 April, 12-9pm
• Friday 17 April, 12-9pm
• Saturday 18 April, 12-9pm
• Sunday 19 April, 12-9pm
The business will also open every weekend and Bank Holiday until June, when opening hours are extended to everyday until the end of August.

Businesses are being reminded that the National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage are set to increase from 1st April, 2018. Following the increase, the new rates include: • National Living Wage (25 years old and over) - £7.83 per hour • National Minimum Wage adult rate (21 to 24 years old) - £7.
