Shots Fired At Two Houses In Coleraine
A man, woman and teenager have escaped injury after shots were fired through the front window of a house in Coleraine.
Two properties in the Oakvale Park area of the town were targeted in the early hours of this morning, Friday 06 March.
No one was injured in either incident.
The first shot was fired through the front window of a house shortly after 4.10am. A woman in her 40s, a man in his 30s and a teenage boy were inside at the time.
Police received a further report shortly before 8.30am that a second property had been targeted overnight, with damage caused to a living room window.
Detective Inspector Peter McKenna condemned the incidents.
"These reckless acts in a residential area shows the complete disregard for members of the local community who live here. Those responsible have absolutely no justification for their actions and have no support within the area. Enquiries are continuing to establish the circumstances surrounding these incidents."
Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area is urged to contact detectives on non-emergency line 101 quoting reference 123 of 06/03/20.

Police woman injured in attack
A police woman has been treated in hospital after a police patrol was attacked by youths in east Belfast last night. The incident occurred near the Markets area of the city when the officer's car was pelted with bricks and other missiles as it drove along East Bridge Street.

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a report that shots were fired at a property in the Shackleton Walk area of Newtownards on Sunday 16th April. Detective Sergeant Bell said: "Shortly after 11:05pm, it was reported that two shots were fired at a first floor flat in the area.

Shot Fired At House In L'Derry
Detectives are investigating after a shot was fired through the window of a house in L'Derry. The incident took place at Shearwater Way in the Waterside area of the city at around 10pm on Sunday 20 October. Police said three masked men called to the house before firing the shot through the living room window. There are no reports of any injuries.

Police are appealing for information after a petrol bomb was thrown at a house in Ballymena, Co Antrim. The incident happened at a property in the Barra Drive area at around 3.45am on Saturday, 15 October. The bomb was thrown at the front window and set fire to blinds and a chair. Extensive smoke damage was cause.
