Johnny Adair's son jailed over drugs charges

The son of former UDA leader, Johnny Adair has been sentenced to five years in a young offenders' institution after being found guilty on drugs dealing charges.

Jonathan Adair, 19, who current resides in Horwich, Greater Manchester admitted at Bolton Crown Court in February to conspiring to supply class A drugs.

Ben Dowie, 22, and William Truesdale, 40, of Chorley New Road in Horwich, also pleaded guilty to drugs charges.

They were sentenced to five and four years in prison respectively.

Adair was arrested by police after he tried to sell heroin and crack cocaine to undercover police officers in Bolton last year.
