Woman Treated For Smoke Inhalation After Bangor Fire
A woman was left in need of treatment for smoke inhalation after a fire in Bangor on Monday night, 24 February.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the blaze at a residential premises on the Southwell Road.
Four people were evacuated from nearby properties following the incident, which happened shortly before 11pm on Monday.
An examination of the scene is due to continue this morning.
Police have asked that anyone who believes they witnessed unusual or suspicious activity in the area would get in touch with detectives in Bangor on 101 quoting reference 2088 of 24/02/20.
Details can also be provided anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Man released in missing Bangor woman case
A man arrested in connection with the murder of missing Bangor woman Lisa Dorrian has been released. The man was released as officers searched a yard behind premises in Ballywalter at the junction with the Greyabbey Road, a short distance from the village of Ballyhalbert, where Lisa was last seen.

ASSEMBLY CREATE AWARD TO HONOUR FIRE SERVICE
THE Northern Ireland Fire Service is to receive the first ever award given by the province's devolved assembly. An illuminated scroll is to be presented to Chief Fire Officer John McClelland on Tuesday, by assembly speaker Lord Alderdice in tribute to the sacrifice made by fire fighters over the years.

A man has been arrested after a woman died in a fire at her flat in the early hours of this morning. The woman – who has not yet been named – was found dead by firefighters at the flat in the Kilcooley area of Bangor. She was in her thirties.
