Man & Woman Stabbed In South Belfast- Reports

A man and woman have been stabbed during an altercation at a house in south Belfast, according to reports.

It's understood the incident took place at a house in Kitchener Street shortly before 6.45pm on Tuesday 11 February.

Local reports suggest that a woman, aged 27, was arrested.

The victims, a 28 year-old male and 33 year-old female, required hospital treatment for wounds they sustained during the attack.

No further details have emerged as yet.

A woman has been found unconscious on a road in County Down. The woman, aged in her 50s, was discovered on the Sheepland Road at around 4.30am on Sunday. She was taken to hospital where she is believed to be in a serious condition.

Neighbours found the body in an upstairs flat in Friendly Place at 7.45am on Monday. Police believe the 38-year-old man had been beaten. A 61-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a fatal road accident in County Down. A woman, believed to be in her 50s, was hit by a vehicle on the Comber Road in Newtownards at about 9.45pm last night. The victim’s name has not yet been released.

Woman Arrested Over False Reports Of Baby Falling From A Ferry
A 37-year-old woman has been arrested for wasting police time after false reports a baby had fallen into the Belfast Lough. A major search operation was carried out, however it was called off in Thursday afternoon. Police said they no longer believed a baby had fallen into the water.
