Shots Fired At West Belfast House

A west Belfast house has been targeted in a gun attack.

Police said no-one was injured when several shots were fired through the front door of house in the Glenalina Gardens area.

The incident took place at around 8.15pm on Thursday evening, 30 January.

Detectives are investigating and have appealed for anyone who was in the area or believes they may have witnessed suspicious activity to contact detectives at Musgrave on 101.

Man Hospitalised After North Belfast Shooting
A man has been hospitalised following a shooting in north Belfast. Police are probing the paramilitary style incident in the Ardoyne area last night, Wednesday 21 August. The victim, a man in his forties, was shot in both legs. He is believed to be in stable condition today.

Belfast Hotel Plan Dropped: Report
A government-supported plan to build a hotel in central Belfast has been scrapped, the BBC has reported. Back in 2007, the Department for Social Development appointed Tullymore House Ltd as preferred developer for Armagh House in the city’s Ormeau Avenue, with plans to convert the building into an upmarket hotel.
