Police appeal following burglary
Police are appealing for information following a burglary in south Belfast on Sunday.
Money and jewellery were stolen from an elderly couple's home in Thalia Street while they were staying with friends.
The couple returned later that day to discover the break-in.
Police described the burglary as "despicable" and appealed for any witnesses to contact them.

Detectives are appealing for information following a report of a burglary in Ahoghill on Tuesday, 12th November. Police received a report that the back door of a house on the Ballymena Road was forced open shortly before 6pm.

Police Appeal Following Aggravated Burglary In North Belfast
Police are appealing for information following an aggravated robbery in north Belfast. A group of masked men, believed to be armed with weapons, robbed a property in the York Crescent area at around 10.30pm on Sunday, 18 December. Extensive damage was caused, according to the PSNI. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Police Appeal Following 'Creeper Style' Burglary In West Belfast
Police are appealing for information following a "creeper style" burglary in west Belfast on Thursday night. The incident happened at a house in the Andersonstown Park area at around 11pm. A Suzuki Alto car was stolen after the keys were taken from inside the property.

Police are appealing for information following a distraction burglary in north Belfast. The incident happened in the Berlin Street area at around 1.30pm on Monday. Two men called to the door of a man's house and told him that he needed new guttering, and he would have to check the back of the property.

Police are appealing for information following an aggravated burglary at the home of a woman in Ballyronan, Magherafelt. Cash and jewellery were stolen in the incident on Tuesday.
