Man Due In Court As Police Cars Rammed

A man is due to appear in court after two PSNI vehicles were rammed during an incident in Forkhill, Co Armagh.

The 38 year-old is facing a number of motor-related offences after he failed to stop for police at around 11.40pm on the Newry Road in North Bridge. Two PSNI vehicles were also rammed by the offending car.

The suspect has been charged with driving with excess alcohol in breath, failing to stop for police, no driving licence and using a motor vehicle without insurance.

He is due to appear before Newry Magistrates Court today, Thursday 09 January.

Police Officers Injured After Vehicles Rammed
Three police officers have been treated in hospital after their vehicles were rammed repeatedly during at attempted vehicle stop in Newry in the early hours of this morning, Thursday 5 January. Two men have been arrested following the incident in the Flagstaff Road area of Cloughoge.

Man Charged Over Vehicle Hijacking In L'Derry
Police investigating the hijacking of a vehicle in L'Derry have charged a man with a number of offences. The 26-year-old is accused of common assault, driving whilst unfit and using a motor vehicle without insurance, in relation to a hijacking in the city on Monday 04 March. He is due to appear at L'Derry Magistrates Court today, 06 March.

Joe Reilly Murder: Man Arrested
A 51-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Joe Reilly. Mr Reilly, 43, was shot at his home in the Glenwood Court area of Poleglass, west Belfast, on 20 October. The suspect was arrested on Monday, 19 December, and has been taken to Musgrave Police station to be questioned.
