Two Arrested Over Malcolm McKeown Murder

Detectives investigating the murder of Malcolm McKeown at a petrol station in Co Down have made two arrests.

The 54 year-old father of three was found slumped in his car after being shot six times outside Dewart's Garage in Waringstown on Monday 19 August.

The two men, aged 33 and 59, were arrested by detectives from the PSNI's Major Investigation Team and have been taken to Musgrave Serious Crime Suite for questioning.

Malcolm McKeown: Police Make One Arrest
Detectives probing the fatal shooting of Malcolm McKeown outside a Co Down petrol station have arrested a man in his twenties. Mr McKeown, aged 54, was found dead in his car outside Dewart's Garage in Waringstown on Monday 19 August. He had been shot six times. The suspect, aged 26, has been taken to Musgrave Station for questioning.

Malcolm McKeown: Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Murder
A 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following a shooting in Waringstown, County Down. Malcolm McKeown, aged 54, was shot dead at a petrol station on Main Street in the village on Monday evening, 19 August. The suspect has been taken to Musgrave Serious Crime Suite for questioning.

Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Attempted Murder
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. A man, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition in hospital after he was assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. Two other men were also arrested and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Police renew murder appeal
Police have renewed their appeal into the murder of a man in Co Down last month. Andrew Cully, a father of two teenage boys from Greyabbey, was shot up to 10 times as he sat in his parked car in the loyalist West Winds estate in Newtownards on 24 March. Detectives want to speak to anyone who saw Mr Cully sitting in his car prior to the shooting.
