PSNI Issue Driving Warning After Weekend Collisions
A number of road traffic collisions in Fermanagh over the weekend has sparked a warning from local police.
PSNI in Fermanagh attended a number of incidents this past weekend, claiming it was "a miracle" nobody was killed. A number of arrests were made at the scenes, including drink driving offences.
Sharing an image of one incident in which a car was laying on its roof, police said: "As the Christmas spirit begins to increase at this time of the year, as does, unfortunately, the number of drink drivers on our roads! The below photo is just one of several road traffic collisions attended by officers in your district over the weekend."
Police also urged road users to drive appropriately, particularly in these winter months.
"Whether it's surface water, frost, or snow, the roads become more dangerous. Leave yourself extra time for journeys and only travel if necessary."
