'Erratic Behaviour' Reports As Blue Tablets Circulate

Police in Downpatrick suspect multiple reports of "erratic behaviour" in the area may be connected to a batch of unidentified blue tablets in circulation.

It's unclear if anyone has came to any harm due to the unknown substances, however anyone who believes they may be experiencing side affects is urged to seek medical help.

The issue came to light on Sunday 24 November

A spokesperson for PSNI Down said: "Police in Downpatrick have received a number of reports of erratic behaviour which may have been caused by people taking unidentified blue tablets. We would like to remind the public that you should not consume any unknown or illegal substances.

"Anyone who believes they may be suffering side effects as a result of consuming blue tablets should seek medical attention as soon as possible."
