Murder Probe Launched Over Bangor Death

Police have launched a murder investigation after a man was found dead at his home in Bangor.

A post mortem examination was carried out after Michael Kerr was discovered dead in suspicious circumstances in Birch Drive on Tuesday night, 19 November.

Detective Chief Inspector Michelle Shaw said: "My thoughts are with his family at this difficult time and I am appealing to the public for information. I would particularly like to hear from anyone who knew Mr Kerr or who saw him in the days leading up to Tuesday, when his body was discovered. If you saw anything suspicious in the area, please let me know."

Man Shot Dead In Co Down
A murder investigation is underway after a man was found shot dead at a petrol station in County Down. The body was discovered in the village of Waringstown just before 9pm on Monday night, 19 August. The victim was discovered in his car that was parked to the rear of the Main Street filling station.

All of the 156 passengers and 33 crew are stranded on board after a lorry shifted in the car deck and came to rest hanging off the back of the vessel.

Female sharks are able to produce without having sex, according to a team of international researchers from Queen’s University Belfast. The discovery was made after a female hammerhead shark gave birth to a pup at Henry Doorly Zoo in Nebraska, despite having had no contact with a male.
