Four-year-old boy dies in Scottish road crash
A four-year-old boy from Northern Ireland has died following a road traffic collision in Scotland.
James Hayes, from Omagh in Co Tyrone died following the crash between a car and a motorcycle outside the village of Maybole at around 12.30pm on Monday.
A Scottish man also died in the accident which involved a Peugeot 106 car and a Yamaha motorcycle.
Three other men and a three-year-old boy, all from Northern Ireland, were also injured in the crash and are currently being treated at the nearby Ayr hospital.
One of those injured is said to be in a critical condition, however the conditions of the other passengers are not yet known.

The crash happened in the Malcolmson Park area in Magheralin just after 4.45pm on Thursday, 12 January. He is believed to be in a stable condition in hospital. Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.

A teenage boy has died in a motorbike collision in Co L'Derry. The crash occurred in the Magilligan area at around 1.20pm on Thursday, 25 August. The 13-year-old boy was airlifted by the Irish Coastguard in Sligo. He was taken to Altnagelvin Hospital but later died.

Two die in separate road accidents
Two people have died in separate road accidents in Counties Londonderry and Down. In the latest accident, a man died following a road traffic accident in Ballynahinch on Wednesday. The accident occurred on the Crossgar Road at around 10.30am. Only one vehicle is believed to have been involved. The victim's name has yet to be released.
