NI House Prices Up 2%
House prices in Northern Ireland increased by 2% in the three months to September, official statistics have revealed.
Some 6,002 residential premises were sold between July and September, with the house price index increasing by 4% when compared to the same period of 2018.
Ten of the eleven district council areas in Northern Ireland showed an increased over the quarter.
The standardised price for NI as a whole is £139,951 and ranges from £120,110 in Derry City and Strabane to £164,900 in Lisburn and Castlereagh.
Median house prices stand at 4.9 times the median annual gross full time earnings, according to Land and Property services.

Rise In NI House Prices
Northern Ireland house prices increased by 2.6% in the year to April 2014, according to the latest report from the Office for National Statistics. Although prices are rising again, the increase was still behind a 9.9% rise in the UK. House price annual inflation was 10.4% in England, 3.3% in Wales and 4.8% in Scotland.

A new report has revealed that rising house prices in Northern Ireland are taking their toll on borrowing and savings. The report, produced by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) showed that the monthly mortgage repayments in the province are now 150% of the average weekly take-home pay – almost twice the level of a decade ago.

NI House Prices Continue To Fall
Northern Ireland house prices continue to fall despite an increase in transactions, according to a new report. The survey by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyers (RICS) and Ulster Bank revealed the overall pattern of declination was likely to remain for the foreseeable future.

NI House Prices Down By More Than A Tenth
Figures out today from the Northern Ireland Statistics & Research Agency show that house prices have fallen by 11% in the frst six months of this year. Land & Property Services released the Residential Property Price Index report for Quarter 2 of 2012, which is compiled from stamp duty information.
