Police Seek Missing Co Down Teen

The family of a 13 year-old girl missing from her Co Down home are growing increasingly concerned for her whereabouts.

Elise Kirkpatrick was last seen in the Hillsborough area at around 8pm on Tuesday 12 November.

She has had no contact with family since.

Police have appealed for information on her whereabouts and said the teen has connections to Banbridge and Lurgan.

Elise is described as being approx 5"2' in height, of slim build, with long straight black hair and blue eyes. She wore grey pyjamas with stars, a grey hoody, green parka coat, and carried a purple back pack and possibly an M&S bag with school uniform in it.

Anyone who has seen Elise or knows of her whereabouts is urged to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 1741 of 12/11/2019.

Police in Co Down are seeking help tracing the whereabouts of James Lewis. The 58 year-old known locally as Jim was last sighted at Holywood train halt on Friday 01 November. Police in east Belfast are renewing their appeal for information regarding the whereabouts of 16-year-old Rosaleen Connors, who has been missing for over a week. Rosaleen was last seen in the Sydenham Road area on Monday, October 7th, at approximately 9:30pm.

Police Officers Disciplined For Failing To Tell Doctor About Woman's Head Injuries
Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Appeal For Help Tracing Whereabouts Of Prisoner Thomas McCabe
The PSNI have issued an appeal for help in tracing the whereabouts of 59-year-old Thomas McCabe, who is currently unlawfully at large. McCabe was sentenced to life for murder in 1990. He was on day release from prison on Wednesday 23rd August when he failed to return to prison as appointed.
