Council Supports Potential Entrepreneurs With Info Sessions
An information evening for anyone considering launching their own business venture is to be held in Belfast.
The 'Start a Business Information Evening' is part of a council partnership with North City Business Centre Ltd, Ormeau Business Park and The Ortus Group as part of a Northern Ireland wide initiative.
Potential entrepreneurs will be given the chance to speak to a business advisor about their idea and learn about the support offered by the Go For It programme.
Councillor Deirdre Hargey, Chair of Belfast City Council's City Growth and Regeneration Committee said: "North City Business Centre Ltd, Ormeau Business Park and The Ortus Group have vast experience in helping budding entrepreneurs in the Belfast City Council area turn their dreams of owning their own business into a reality.
"We would encourage anyone who has an idea for a business to drop in to their nearest venue anytime from 5.30pm – 7pm to meet an experienced business advisor for a free, no-obligation opportunity to discuss how the Go For It Programme can really help their business idea take off."
The Go For It programme is delivered free of charge by a team of experienced business mentors through Northern Ireland's wide network of enterprise agencies. It combines expert advice with help to develop a robust business plan to turn ideas into a commercial enterprise.
This project is part funded by Invest Northern Ireland and the European Regional Development Fund under the Investment for Growth & Jobs Northern Ireland (2014-2020) Programme.
The information evening will take place on Thursday 21 November, from 5.30pm-7pm. Find out more here.
