PSNI Seek Help Tracing Missing Co Down Man

Police in Co Down are seeking help tracing the whereabouts of James Lewis.

The 58 year-old known locally as Jim was last sighted at Holywood train halt on Friday 01 November.

Jim previously resided in the Donaghadee area and police have advised that he now has a beard and longer hair in contrast to the picture shared.

When last seen he was wearing a grey thermal top, grey jogging bottoms, sketcher trainers, a flat cap and a blue snood and was carrying plastic shopping bags.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact police in Newtownards on 101 quoting reference 1471 of 04/11/19.

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. Two Arrested In Jim Donegan Murder Probe
Police investigating the murder of Jim Donegan have arrested two men. The 43-year-old was shot dead as he sat in his car waiting to collect his son from school on the Glen Road in west Belfast on 04 December 2018. The detained men, aged 53 and 39, were arrested under the Terrorism Act this morning, Friday 26 April.

Schoolgirl Dies In Armagh Crash
A nine-year-old girl has been killed in a car crash in County Antrim. The child was travelling in the back seat of a car on the Hamiltonsbawn Road on Monday morning, 25 February. Police said the Hardy Memorial Primary School pupil died at the scene. She is believed to be from the Richhill area.

Deputy Speaker Of Assembly Resigns
The deputy speaker of the NI Assembly, Sinn Fein's Caitríona Ruane, has resigned from the role. She kept her post as principal deputy speaker, which has a salary of £55,000, despite the assembly not functioning. TUV leader Jim Allister brought the issue to light and called for her to resign.
