Four Charged Over Serious Assault In Ballymena
Four men are due in court later today over charges relating to a serious assault in Ballymena.
The incident on Sunday evening, 27 October, saw a disturbance at a licensed premises on Waring Street spill out into the street at around 10.50pm. A number of weapons were used during the incident.
Four individuals aged 30, 38 and two aged 31 are facing a number of charges including affray and grievous bodily harm. They are due to appear at Antrim Magistrates' Court later on Tuesday, 29 October.
It's understood three men attended hospital for treatment following the violent onslaught.

A police officer has been injured after being struck with a hammer in Co Armagh at the weekend. The incident occurred after officers were called to the Thomas Street area of Portadown on Sunday after a Portuguese man reported damage to his car. Police raids net £1.8m worth of drugs
Cannabis resin with an estimated street value of nearly £1.8 million pounds has been seized by police north and south of the border in two separate incidents. In the first incident two men were arrested after Gardaí raided a warehouse at Navan in County Meath on Thursday April 25, seizing cannabis resin worth 2.5 million euro (£1.5 million).

Man Charged With Attempted Murder
A man has been charged with attempted murder in connection with an attack in Newry on St Patrick's Day in 2012. A 31-year-old man was assaulted by two men in the Monaghan Street area on Saturday, 17 March, four years ago. The suspect is to appear before Armagh Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, 18 October.

Police Appeal After Woman Injured In Crash In East Belfast
Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was injured in a collision between a car and a moped in east Belfast. The crash happened in the Parkgate Avenue area at around 11.25pm on Saturday, 13 May. The woman is being treated in hospital for her injuries.

Four charged over weekend drugs finds
Four people have been charged during separate drugs finds throughout Northern Ireland over the weekend. In the first incident, a 17-year-old was charged with four counts of possession of ecstasy and cocaine, and possession with intent to supply. He was also charged with handling stolen goods.
