Public Reminded To Put Clocks Back
As the British Summer Time ends this Sunday, members of the public are reminded to put their clocks back and make sure they don't miss out on that extra hour in bed.
The time will officially change at 2am on Sunday morning, 27 October, falling back an hour to 1am Greenwich Mean Time.
In order to make the most of a bonus hour of your sacred weekend, ensure all times are changed on Saturday evening- especially alarm clocks, central heating and water timers.
British Summer Time starts on the last Sunday in March and ends on the last Sunday in October, meaning time will fall back in the autumn and jump forward in spring.
Since 2002, clocks have changed on standard dates throughout the EU, making things easier for people travelling and maximising the daylight hours we can enjoy.
The British Isles constantly remains an hour behind most of Central Europe.
