Elderly Resident's Home Targeted In Armagh Burglary
The home of an elderly person was targeted in a burglary in Co Armagh over the weekend, police have said.
A quantity of cash was stolen from the home in the Foughilletra Road area of Jonesborough on Sunday morning, 20 October.
Police are interested in speaking to two males who were spotted in a silver/grey coloured Audi that was parked outside the property. The vehicle left the scene in the direction of Railway Road.
Detective Sergeant Bell said: "It is believed that entry was gained to the property at around 10 am on Sunday. A quantity of cash was taken during the incident.
"We are appealing to anyone with information, or who noticed any suspicious activity in the Foughilletra Road, Jonesborough area on Sunday afternoon, to get in touch."
Detectives in Newry can be contacted on 101 by quoting reference number 643 of 20/10/19.
Information can also be provided anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Attack On North Belfast Home Treated As Hate Crime
Police are treating an attack on a house in north Belfast as a hate crime. Masked men smashed the windows at the front of a property in the Crumlin Road area just after midnight on Wednesday. Three men fled from the scene on foot. A police spokesperson said: "This incident is being treated as a hate crime and enquiries into the matter are ongoing.

Police have launched an investigation following the attempted murder of a police officer in east Belfast. A serving officer detected a suspicious object under his vehicle when parked at Shandon Park on Saturday afternoon, 01 June. ATO were called to the scene and the device was declared a viable explosive.
