Charlotte Murray: Ex-Fiancee Convicted Of 2012 Murder

Police have renewed their appeal for the recovery of Charlotte Murray's body after a Coleraine man was convicted of her murder.

A jury unanimously found 48-year-old Johnny Miller guilty of the 2012 murder of his then 34-year-old ex-fiancée on Tuesday 08 October. Despite finally securing justice, the Omagh woman's body has never been returned to her family.

Detectives from the PSNI's Major Investigation Team welcomed the conviction but urged anyone with information on the whereabouts of Charlotte's body to allow her family closure.

Chief Inspector Eamonn Corrigan said: "Charlotte's family still need to have her body home so they can give her a proper burial. They haven't seen her for seven years and deserve to be allowed to say goodbye to her.

"I would appeal to anyone who knows where Charlotte's body is to come forward and give the information to police so that we can return her to her family."

Police can be contacted as normal on non-emergency line 101 or by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
